This scheme includes the development of existing waste ground to provide 33 affordable rented dwellings for our partner Green Square Accord, with additional funding from Homes England. The site adjacent to the Wyrley and Essington Canal and started on site in December 2022. This scheme was constructed using a modern method of construction through our client’s sister company LoCal Homes. They are providing a fully finished elevational treatment roof and structural frames.
The scheme comprises a residential development of 36no new dwellings arranged around a shared courtyard-style space and comprising a mix of both townhouses and apartments. The design forms active frontages which establish a relationship with the adjacent train line and the existing surroundings.
