BAPTIST AVENUE, TELFORD

The overall scheme aims to deliver 30 units comprising of a mix of 1, 2, 3 and 4 bed homes. The site is currently vacant but is in a prime location to provide the best local amenities to residents, including Telford Shopping Centre which has a wide range of sopping facilities, restaurants and the Telford Town Park all within close proximities of the development. There are also a number of good schools in close proximity to the development, making it perfect for families.

The proposed 87 unit development will serve as a flagship site for the Business and further cement our relationship with our Client, Midland Heart following the success of our Booths Lane development. Planning approval is imminent for the construction of 1 bed apartments along with 2, 3 and 4 bed units which will benefit from quality materials and future provisions for Electric Vehicle Charging. The proposals also include for the provision of a cycle ‘super highway’ to encourage green travel to future residents of the development.

This development benefits from a planning approval for the construction of 21 fully affordable dwellings consisting of a mix of 2, 3 and 4 bed units. The site utilises otherwise redundant land and will provide high quality homes which will not only complement the existing housing stock, but also aids the regeneration of the surrounding area. Delivery of this scheme will also create energy efficient dwellings to bolster the Local Authorities land supply of homes.

This scheme includes the development of existing waste ground to provide 33 affordable rented dwellings for our partner Green Square Accord, with additional funding from Homes England. The site site adjacent to the Wyrley and Essington Canal and started on site in December 2022. This scheme is being constructed using a modern method of construction through our client’s sister company LoCal Homes. They are providing a fully finished elevational treatment roof and structural frames.

WOODS LANE, CRADLEY

The proposed scheme comprises a residential development of 36no new dwellings arranged around a shared courtyard-style space and comprising a mix of both townhouses and apartments. The design forms active frontages which establishes a relationship with the adjacent train line and the existing surroundings.

As Keon’s first scheme with Midland heart, we are excited to develop a strong partnership and build high quality affordable homes in this developing area of North West Birmingham.

CROSS STREET DEVELOPMENT

This scheme includes the demolition of existing redundant low rise flatted accommodation and construction of 9 Bungalows to accommodate the over 55’s. The works will includes some service diversions, tree surgery along with all associated infrastructure works, hard and soft landscaping and remodelling of an existing road under a S278 agreement. This is the first of 3 phases of regeneration in this area with Keon Homes kicking off this small but flagship project for our client.

Streethay is a development of 14 houses and 6 apartments located in Lichfield. The site is ideally located with various amenities, two train stations and key road networks close by. As our first scheme with WHG, Keon are excited to grow and develop a long standing partnership.

NEWCOMEN WAY

Our first site purchased through Homes England, located close to Ironbridge this former pasture land will be developed sympathetically to include retaining key tree lined boundaries whilst providing a generous amount of open space for its residents. Built to a high specification these two and three bedroom properties including wheelchair accessible bungalows will provide much needed affordable housing in the area.

CROSS STREET PHASE 2

This scheme is a secondary phase of development, following up on our successful Phase 1 delivery of 9no bungalows for our valued Client, Aspire Housing. The Phase 2 development benefits from planning approval for the construction of 35no dwellings overall consisting of a mix of 1 bed apartments, along with 2 and 3 bed properties. The delivery of the site will add provide high quality, much needed housing to the area as part of proposed larger residential scheme.

MANSFIELD BREWERY

Regeneration of the former Mansfield Brewery Site with the construction of 24 Houses and 27 Apartments (A mix of 2 and 3 bed). Works will include a new adoptable road to be constructed under a S38 agreement and all other associated infrastructure works include all hard and soft landscaping. This scheme benefits from an EPC level B rating through our clients desire to surpass the prevailing building regulations at the point of starting the site, this meant the scheme included solar panels, better windows and increased amounts of insultation.

The development has been designed to sympathetically compliment local building heritage to seamlessly blend in with the location. As a former yard, this site has lay vacant for 25 years. Our partnership with Wise Living has allowed us to offer the local planning authority a scheme that provides much needed housing whilst considering all key planning factors. Efforts from our planning consultant Harris Lamb and our Architect BM3 have been vital to getting this scheme over the line.

RUGBY ROAD, BULKINGTON

This development aims to provide 42no 1 and 2 bed apartments for the over 55’s. The delivery of the project is in tandem with another of our important Clients, Midland Heart. Planning has been submitted for a minor variation to the previously approved scheme and once approved, will allow us to deliver a development that compliments the surrounding area and vastly improving the former New Inn Public House site.

STREETHAY CARE VILLAGE

Reserved Matters has been granted for the erection of an extra care scheme (C2 Use Class) comprising 78 apartments and 60 bungalows with associated communal facilities, car parking and landscaping.
